solarDAB AdvertROBERTS' solarDAB advertising campaign

To coincide with the launch of solarDAB ROBERTS unleashes the first phase of it’s advertising campaign across Britain’s broadsheets as well as a promotional push across major commercial radio stations, just as summer seems to be arriving.

The new solarDAB, the world’s first solar-powered digital radio, will be featured this week in full-page colour ads in the Times, Daily Telegraph, Guardian and Independent, as well as in the London edition of Friday’s Metro. The advertisements are expected to reach over 5.4 million individuals, building widespread awareness of the radio which has already been extensively featured within the shopping pages of the national press and the gadget media.

The product will also be featured in on-air promotions across 10 radio stations throughout July and August, including Capital, Virgin, Talksport, Classic FM, Heart and Magic, reaching an expected 22 million listeners. The total cost of the solarDAB campaign is expected to exceed £500,000.

Absolute Radio Breakfast promotions

Roberts work closely with Absolute Radio to promote digital radio on-air. Absolute's breakfast presenter Christian O’Connell runs a variety of on-air and online competitions giving away a variety of Roberts radios.
